    Use a high-resolution image with a clear focal point and enough visual detail across the whole canvas. Avoid placing essential words on tile boundaries.

    Select and inspect the grid

    Choose a supported layout, then examine each tile separately. Check that faces, logos, and captions remain understandable after the image is divided.

    Download and plan the sequence

    Save the numbered files and plan their order before posting. A newest-first profile arrangement generally requires reverse publishing order; existing pins and grid features can affect the visible result.

    Preview the live profile

    Check the actual profile crop after publishing and give each tile a useful caption and image description. Keep the original so the grid can be rebuilt if the layout changes.

Tips for a better result

  • Use a grid for a deliberate campaign, not as a substitute for useful individual posts.
  • Leave space around important details because Instagram's profile preview can crop differently from the full post.
  • Plan the posts that follow the grid so later updates do not create an unintended arrangement.

Does Caroush upload my photo?

No. The grid is created locally in your browser and your source image is not sent to Caroush.

In what order should I publish the tiles?

The filenames already follow publishing order: upload 1st.png first, then 2nd.png, and continue in sequence. This reverses the visual tile order for a newest-first grid. Check the current profile layout and any pinned or reordered posts before planning the finished arrangement.

What is the difference between a profile grid and an Instagram carousel?

A profile grid spreads a design across separate posts that sit together on a profile. A carousel places several images inside one swipeable post. Use this grid maker for individual profile tiles and the carousel splitter for slides that belong in one post.

Why is part of my original image missing from the tiles?

The tool center-crops the source to fit your chosen grid's overall shape before dividing it into square tiles. Prepare a source with a matching ratio, keep faces and important text away from the edges, and check every tile in the preview before downloading.

Can I download all the grid tiles together?

Yes. Download all prepares a ZIP archive containing the numbered PNG files. You can also select an individual tile to download it separately. Unzip the archive before selecting images in Instagram, and preserve the filenames until you have checked the posting sequence.

Will every Instagram profile display the grid exactly like the preview?

The preview shows the square exports arranged together. Instagram can crop profile thumbnails differently, and future posts, pinned posts, or layout controls can change the arrangement. Preview the current profile crop in Instagram and keep each tile understandable on its own.
